About Bronwyn

Bronwyn Tregenza has held Executive positions as Curriculum Coordinator and Director of Teaching and Learning at leading Independent Schools in NSW. After completing her Bachelor's Degree with majors in Education and Linguistics, she completed further undergraduate studies in Biology and a Masters of Education in Research methods and ICTS in Education. 

 

Having spent eight years teaching and leading in Primary Schools before joining the team of consultants at the Association of Independent Schools, and then teaching Science and IPT to Year 12 level, Bronwyn has crafted learning experiences for students from Kindergarten to adult. Bronwyn's consultancy focus at AIS was PDHPE and HSIE as well as the integration of Information and Communication Technologies into teaching and learning.

 

Over five years as Head of Science and Gifted and Talented Coordinator at Oxley College, Bronwyn developed a curriculum compaction and telescoping programme to embed above-stage learning into 7-9 Science classes and support acceleration into Year 11 and 12 Science subjects.

 

Bronwyn created and runs the innovative, Sydney based Year 9 Rites of Passage programme for Oxley College and the Oxley College Ignite 11 programme at ANU. In 2018 she took on the role of Teacher Accreditation Leader, allowing her to work closely with K-12 teaching colleagues to refine and celebrate their expert practice.
